The tin matki sits neatly on a console, shelf, or dinner table, catching the light with a calm, steady glow. Its shape nods to the traditional matki, without turning sentimental. Hand-poured at our Gurugram studio, it is made with soy wax for a clean burn. The tin finish keeps the form simple and easy to live with. Light it before guests arrive, or leave it burning through a slow evening at home. It works well on its own, or beside brass, wood, and plain linen.
Care
Burn for no longer than three hours at a stretch. Trim the wick to 5mm before each light. Keep away from draughts so the flame stays centred.
