On a mantel, sideboard, or dining table in December, this little scene reads at once festive and still. The tree, the snow, the star, and the two children in winter dress give it a familiar, storybook feel. It is sculpted as a figurine candle and hand-poured at our Gurugram studio in India. The details are kept crisp so it holds its shape well as a decorative object. Place it with greenery, brass, or plain linen, or keep it on its own. It works as a quiet centrepiece through the season, and then is best stored away for next year.
Care
Burn for no longer than three hours at a stretch. Trim the wick to 5mm before each light. Keep away from draughts so the flame stays centred.
